ImageMagick-6.8.6-10-Q16 No Longer Works (Bug reports)

I downloaded the newest version of ImageMagick-6.8.6-10-Q16-x86-dll and installed it using the same settings for installing the OLE control as I alway do.
Icomancer not longer recognized as ImageMagick being installed. The prior version of ImageMagick-6.8.6-9-Q16-x86-dll.exe works as expected.
I am running on WinXP Pro SP3 (32-bit) with all updates applied.

There must be a problem with your IM installation... Or, Did you first uninstall the previous version? Because if you install the update and then uninstall the previous, it unregisters the DLL.
I strongly recommend you to uninstall any IM version you have and then install the latest with the COM object. That way it should work with no issues.
